Our awards night, as usual was well attended. Br. Clifford Howard received his 50th Year Service Medal. Presented to him by RW Michael Shaw, DDGM 18th, as well as our own RW Michael Tremblay & RW Carl Marsano. Br. Howard is a member of the Scottish Rite and Kora Shriners. While employed he was a member of the Maine State Police Degree Team.
Other Awardees include RW Carl Marsano receiving the MW Edward P. Burnham Award for lifetime Service to the Craft. Carl has been an officer for Saco Lodge for over 25 years, serving as Master in 2002 and Secretary since 2003. He has also served as District Deputy Grand Master, District Education Representative and Grand Steward. He is also a member of York Chapter and Kora Shriners
RW Michael Tremblay presented his official Grand Lodge Portrait to Saco Lodge, where it will be hung along with the other Saco Lodge officers who have distinctly served the craft. Mike was elected Junior Grand Warden in 2021, making him the first brother from Saco Lodge & the 18th Masonic District to be elected (and become a permanent member of ) to a Grand Lodge position since MW John Anagnostis was elected Grand Secretary over 20 years ago.
