Throughout August and September, the brothers of Carrabasset Lodge in Canaan built a fantastic addition to their lodge- an outdoor pavilion.  The pavilion was made possible by donations in the name of Brother Jim Herrin at his passing earlier this summer. With a load of hemlock logs donated by brother Delbert Franklin and sawed by David Wacome (a friend of the lodge), the brotherhood constructed a multi-use outdoor pavilion.  This structure will be great for lodge activities as well as make the lodge more valuable to brothers, friends and family that have been renting our facility more and more!  In October we held a dedication and invited Jim Herrin's family to take part, concluding with coffee and apple crisp.
