Directions
Carrabassett Lodge is located on the corner of the Oak Pond Rd and Canaan Rd (US Route 2); very near the entrances to the Lake George Regional Park in Canaan.
From the west: Travel East on US Route 2 from Newport toward Skowhegan to Canaan Village, pass throught the village (pass the gas stations, Dunkin' Donuts and School, the Oak Pond Rd is on the Left as you head out of town, if you pass the Lake George Regional park Entrance you went too far! The Lodge is visible from Route 2, we have a sign on Route 2.
From the East, Travel West on Route 2 from Skowhegan towards Newport. You will pass the intersection with Eaton Mountain Rd and East Ridge Rd, continue about 1.5 miles, just after the entrances to the Lake George Regional Park, the Oak Pond Rd is on your right. If you come to Canaan Village (gas stations, school, town office, Dunkin Donuts) you have gone too far! The Lodge is visible from Route 2, we have a sign on Route 2.
From the South: Take I-95 to exit 133 (Fairfield/Skowhegan, Route 201). Drive North on Route 201 toward Skowhegan/Jackman. Turn onto Route 23 in Hinckley (right after the Good Will Hinckley / KVCC Campus) you will immediately cross the Kennebec River. Travel about 7 miles to Canaan Village, where Rte 23 intersects US Route 2 (Dunkin Donuts on the Corner) turn left and head towards Skowhegan on Route 2, the Oak Pond Rd is on the Left as you head out of town, if you pass the Lake George Regional park Entrance you went too far! The Lodge is visible from Route 2, we have a sign on Route 2.
From the North: Take I-95 South to exit 157 (Newport Route 7/Route 2). Drive East on Route 2 toward Skowhegan/Sugarloaf to Canaan Village (about 17 miles), pass through the village (pass the gas stations, Dunkin' Donuts and School, the Oak Pond Rd is on the Left as you head out of town, if you pass the Lake George Regional park Entrance you went too far! The Lodge is visible from Route 2, we have a sign on Route 2.
