Maine Masonic Charity Foundation issued a check to Freeport Community Services (FCS) in the amount of $1,000 on behalf of District #14 Masonic Lodges to provide food assistance to the local community. Pictured is Donald Cyr, President of District #14 District Officers Association, presenting this check to Sarah Lundin, Director of Programs at FCS on Thursday April 8, 2021. Richard Miller, current Chaplain of Freeport Lodge, also attended this presentation. The six (6) local lodges represented in Masonic District #14 are United Lodge in Brunswick, Solar Star Lodge in Bath, Freeport Lodge #23, Village Lodge in Bowdoinham, Acacia Lodge in Durham, and Ancient Lodge in Lisbon. FCS provides free lunches to-go on 1st and 3rd Friday each month as a drive-thru service at their facility on Depot Street in Freeport.
