While cleaning up after the flooding in January 2024, a brother from the Augusta Masonic Building discovered this charter in a safe in the lower level of the building.  Thought lost when the lodge burned in 1921.  Why it was in Augusta we don't know.

It is in pretty bad shape and we are looking into if it can be restored in any way.  It has the signatures of the Grand Master MW Josiah Drummond and the future GM MW William Preble.

Very exciting for the brothers of Dresden Lodge.
