5th District's Annual Visitation
5th District 10 months ago

On January 11th, 2024, the 5th District was visited by the Most Woshipful Grand Master, Dan Bartlett and other memebers of the Grand Lodge for an evening of fellowship, awards and presentations. Bro. Vance Ginn and crew put on another great meal, as always. For the program, Ricky Boudreau of the Temple Gaurd spoke about the organizations fund raising efforts and all they do for Masonry and charity. He also presented a $500 check to Columbia Doric (received by Herb Libby) to use towards their matching grants. DeMolay executed a great Ceremony of Lights and spoke about the organiztion - their efforts and the activities they're involved with. Piscataquis Lodge was recognized for their recent efforts to reach out more into the community and for promoting Masonry. RW Bill Pinkham was recognized for his encourgement, support and mentorship to the DD over the past 20 months. RW Kelley Carter, Grand Marshall, was recognized not only for his assistance in coordinating the 5th District's visitation, but all the visitations across the state. MW Bartlett was presented with a pair of cowboy boots (which we're convinced he's desired for some time) for all he's done for the craft, not only this past year, but the many years he's served as a Grand Lodge officer. It was a fun and enjoyable evening wrapped up with words from each of RW Carter, RW Don Pratt - DGM, and MW Bartlett. Thank you to all who were able to attend and to all those that contributed in one way or another to make it a pleasurable experience. Additional photos can be viewed at the link below.
